ETERNAL TAAL

Eternal Taal is a Birmingham based Entertainments team which specialises in Female Dhol Drummers and Bhangra Dancers, established in 1999. Eternal Taal are the first group in the UK to be taught by UK’s first female dhol drummer, Parv Kaur. Dhol playing is a very male dominated instrument but Parv wanted to establish a Female oriented group to perform at all types of events.

Eternal Taal offer weekly Dhol Drumming and Bhangra Dance Classes to young talented students. These classes consist of workshops and presentations about the history, background and nature of Bhangra Indian music. Those students who show great ambition and passion perform at many High profile events. These are some of the events Eternal Taal have performed at; Glastonbury Festival, House of Commons 2010, Graham Norton show LG ARENA, Bollywood, BBC, West End and many more.

Eternal Taal has been recognised globally and in 2010 Parv Kaur was awarded the ‘Contribution of Bhangra music in the UK’ from the House of Commons. Eternal Taal have also been awarded for;

    - Asian Entertainment of the year – Birmingham Prestige award 2019
    - Best Asian/World Act – BMA award 2020
    - Women Role Model – Vii Media award 2021
Eternal Taal – Everlasting Beats, promote and encourage young talented people from the community to perform on local community, charity and social stages. With 22 year’s experience not only has Parv established a well-known group but full time as her career she is a qualified lecturer in Computer Science.
