TRANS-SIBERIAN

MARCH BAND

Riotous, raucous and reactionary, the Trans-Siberian March Band play music of the people, from Eastern Europe, the Balkans and beyond. The music and the performance capture the essence of succeeding against the odds and provide a therapeutic backdrop to the increasingly numerous, existential ironies of life in the 21st Century. The songs cross borders and link cultures, in a glorious celebration of what it means to be alive, what it means to be with others and what it means to build on the past and create moments of bliss, as we progress towards an uncertain future together. Brass, reeds and percussion - on stage, in the park, in the street or anywhere else we can fit – , the Trans Siberians’ are both a perfect antidote to past challenges and a life enhancing gateway to joy, at least for a short while.
